It is if you want to just get through the holidays, likely for the sake of the children. Not too many people look to start a contested divorce around the holidays. Certainly, its not an absolute. Many spouses are forced, under the circumstances, to navigate custody disputes around the major holidays. Often not by choice, issues may appear that simply cannot be overlooked until after the New Year. Whenever the best interests of the children are concerned, immediate action cannot and should not be delayed.
